Heading south on I-65 through Indiana we passed this motorcycle. I’m not against motorcycles. In fact I had a BSA Bantam 175 when I lived in the UK and still regret the day I gave away my asymmetrical-zippered black leather jacket. But I’ve always thought of the middle of Indiana as redneck country and jumped to a conclusion about this couple a bit too quickly. Take a look at what was in their trailer:

Indiana was full of traffic and we sped by them so fast I didn’t have time to dig out my camera so I cajoled my husband to pull over in the slow lane and wait until they caught up with us. Not only did the riders give me big smiles as I motioned with my camera, but I got a great shot of their two companions. And then I was totally surprised by the sign on the trailer. At first glance I assumed it was the normal “God Bless America”, one of my pet peeves since I insist we should petition God to bless all peoples and nations. Boy was I surprised to read “America Bless God.” These are my kind of people!
